About Us
Balqees is the Arabic name of the legendary Queen of Sheba, whose kingdom rose from the mountains and spice routes of ancient Yemen. Our kitchen carries that same generosity to Memphis: lamb roasted slowly until it falls from the bone, stone pots of saltah that arrive still bubbling, and rice perfumed with the spices of the old trade roads. Everything is made fresh, to order, every time.
